Gather the troops and get your game on for an exhilirating scavenger hunt at one of Cape Town’s Big 6 tourist destinations – the V&A Waterfront!
The game is played using a smartphone, pre-loaded with the game app, and activities are tracked in real-time so you can see how your opponents are fairing and take your game up a notch if necessary! You’ll need to work as a team, communicate efficiently, get creative and plan your strategy if you want to wheel your way to the top of the leaderboard. The tasks set out are educational, engaging, challenging and fun, and they’ll take you on a tour of the Waterfront like you’ve never experienced it before.
HOW THE GAME WORKS
Teams will be given a smart device, loaded with data, and the game app, and will be briefed on game rules and procedures. Once the clock starts ticking, you’re off on a scavenger hunt for the next hour and a half. The app provides a set number of challenges that will need to be completed within the stipulated time, and these vary in level of complexity and effort. In order to win, teams collect points by completing challenges which require either a photo or video to be submitted. These are scored by the game commander and so planning, strategising, creativity and navigation are the keys to success. Be original, be bold, be creative!
WHY THE GALLIVANTING GOOSE?
The Wild Goose Chase Game makes for an exciting teambuilding event, birthday party, end of year function, brand activation, or just about any celebration for a group of 15 or more friends or colleagues. It provides a fun and inspiring opportunity to engage with various locations around your city and learn interesting facts or spot hidden features you’ve never noticed before while building memories with those in your work or social circles.

We were honoured to collaborate to launch the first ever wheelchair accessible game. Thank you Larissa for all your effort and thought that went into making this event the success that it was!
